Mental Health by Zdravo

Pharmaceutical company Zdravo set out to launch a new business line focused on mental and emotional well-being and turned to us for support. Our team was tasked with creating a modern and efficient online platform that would meet users’ needs in the field of psychological and mental health.

The platform had to include a wide range of features: an online store, a personal user account with order history, and an advanced admin panel for Zdravo administrators.

Initially, the goal was to build a simple website to sell 3–4 products and host one psychological test. However, the project quickly grew into a robust online platform with psychological assessments, a product database, and a collection of useful articles.

Over time, the scope expanded far beyond the original expectations. This required a reassessment of the project and the development of a new technical specification.



Planning

We developed a comprehensive technical specification based on requirements gathered from the client. These requirements were formed after several interviews and meetings between our project managers and the Zdravo team. Once approved, we moved on to implementation.






Project Goals

Our objectives were to design an intuitive interface that provided seamless access to all platform features, attract a broad target audience, increase user loyalty, and improve conversion rates and session duration. Another crucial goal was to give users the ability to take psychological tests and receive immediate recommendations.



Approach

The project was divided into stages to ensure structured development and maximum efficiency. We began with a client briefing to define all technical requirements, followed by a series of meetings to capture every aspect of the platform.

Next, we worked on the digital identity and design concept. Building on Zdravo’s existing communication assets, we developed a new visual concept that blended modern aesthetics with functionality and speed. The provided illustrations and color scheme formed the foundation of the platform’s style.

We then focused on the UX/UI. The goal was to create an intuitive user journey paired with a visually appealing interface, making the platform easy and pleasant to use for audiences of different ages and backgrounds.

Key features we implemented included psychological testing with instant results and recommendations, an online store with product browsing and checkout, and a personal user account where people could store test results, manage personal information, and track their orders.



Admin Panel

A fully-featured admin panel was developed for Zdravo’s team, enabling administrators to manage content across the entire platform. They can now add pages, products, articles, and tests directly through the panel without technical support.






Technology

For the platform, we chose Nuxt.js for the frontend and Laravel for the backend, ensuring high performance, security, and stability through fast rendering and robust architecture. PostgreSQL was used for reliable database management, while AWS provided scalable global hosting.

One standout feature was a skeuomorphic digital diary, designed with realistic page-flip animations, creating the experience of interacting with a real book. This unique element delivered a memorable and engaging user experience.

We also implemented a modular header navigation system with scalability in mind, allowing the interface to adapt quickly to different screen sizes while providing easy access to content and enabling new links to be added without friction.



Results

Thanks to modern solutions and intuitive navigation, the new Mental Health by Zdravo web platform exceeded expectations. We achieved the project’s key goals: expanding the loyal user base, improving conversion rates, and enhancing the overall user experience.

Today, the platform provides users with seamless access to resources and tools that support and improve mental well-being, while giving Zdravo a solid foundation to grow in the digital health space
