KNDISE

Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations (KNDISE) is Ukraine’s leading institution in the field of forensic expertise, providing professional research and support for the legal system. Our task was to create a new official website for the institute – one that would be modern, structured, and user-friendly.

The key feature of this project was the extremely tight deadline. The client needed a fully functional product in just three weeks, which meant our team had to build the process in a way that would deliver results without compromising quality.





Challenges

The main challenge was the limited timeframe for both design and development. Additionally, we had to work with a large amount of information and structure it properly for multiple audiences – lawyers, attorneys, state institutions, and citizens. Another important requirement was to create a modern yet official style that would match the status of a state institution.





Our Approach

To meet the deadline while maintaining high quality, we relied on one of our core tools – the design system. At the very start, we developed a flexible component library in Figma that allowed us to quickly assemble new screens without spending extra time on manual styling. This not only accelerated the design process but also created a strong foundation for future updates of the website.

At the same time, the development team was working in parallel. Thanks to the clear rules of the design system, integration became seamless and efficient. Our developers were able to deploy ready-made modules immediately, significantly shortening the “design → code” cycle.





Solution

We created a new information architecture that simplifies access to key sections and documents. The design was made fully adaptive, ensuring that the website looks equally good on desktop and mobile devices. The design system ensured scalability and convenient use for future updates. We also optimized the development process to guarantee fast page loading and stable website performance.





Result

In less than three weeks, KNDISE received a fully functional website with a modern design, fast interface, and clear content structure. The new platform not only meets the requirements of a government institution but also provides a comfortable user experience for a wide range of visitors.

This project proved that even under very tight deadlines, it is possible to deliver a high-quality digital product – provided the team has the right approach, systematic processes, and coordinated work between designers and developers.
