Project Objectives

Zdravo, a pharmaceutical company, wanted to launch a new initiative focused on mental well-being and was referred to us by mutual contacts. Our team at Loza Studio was tasked with creating a modern and effective online platform that would cater to users' needs in the mental health space. Initially, the project aimed to develop a website featuring 3-4 products and a single test for users. A technical specification was developed and approved by the client. However, the project quickly expanded beyond its original scope, leading to a reevaluation and the creation of a new technical specification. The key objectives of the project included:

• Designing a user-friendly interface that provides easy access to all platform features and services.

• Attracting a broad target audience and increasing user loyalty.

• Improving conversion rates and session duration.

• Enabling users to conduct psychological self-assessments and receive tailored recommendations.

Project Approach

The project was divided into several stages to ensure a clear development structure and maximum efficiency:

Briefing and Technical Requirement Definition

We conducted a series of meetings with the client to understand all aspects of the project and develop detailed technical documentation.

Design Concept Creation

Using the existing brand identity, we crafted a new design concept that blends modern visual solutions with functionality. Illustrations and colors provided by the client were used as the foundation for creating a unique style for the platform.

UX/UI Design

We focused on creating an intuitive UX and aesthetic UI that make interacting with the platform enjoyable and easy for users of all ages.

Development and Functional Integration

We implemented several key components, including:

• The ability to take tests to assess emotional well-being, with instant results and recommendations.

• An online store where users can explore products, add them to their cart, and complete purchases.

• A personal account feature that allows users to save test results, edit personal information, and track orders.

Development of the Administrative Panel

We created an advanced admin panel for managing platform content. Administrators can add new pages, products, articles, and tests directly through the panel.

Technologies

For the platform's development, we chose Nuxt.js for the frontend and Laravel for the backend, ensuring high performance and security through fast rendering and stability. We also used PostgreSQL for reliable database management and AWS for hosting, allowing us to achieve scalability and high availability of services worldwide.

Notably, we implemented a skeuomorphic realistic journal that allows users to flip through pages, creating a unique user experience.

A multi-component header with scalability options allows the interface to adapt quickly to different screen sizes, ensuring easy access to information.

Results

By implementing modern solutions and user-friendly navigation, the new Mental Health web platform far exceeded expectations. We successfully achieved the project’s primary goals: increased user loyalty, improved conversion rates, and enhanced overall user experience. The platform now offers users a convenient way to interact with all the features and resources that support and improve mental health.
